In this session, you will learn how to combine traditional foods from the cultures you teach, farm-to-school ideas, grammatical concepts and nutritional education with your regular curriculum. The presenter will show you some of the ways she has integrated food education into her curriculum and help you adapt these ideas to different classroom constraints. Presented in French.


Michelle Emery

Michelle Emery has taught French (levels 1 through post AP) for 24 years, in Pennsylvania, in France and now at Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, VT. She and her husband, who is a French chef, lived in Paris for 8 years. They have 2 teenage children.
